A group of four Swedish extreme athletes competing in a multi-day endurance race ended up becoming the new owners of a stray dog that followed them through the jungle.
The group was preparing to embark on their final bike ride and jungle trek when they came across the dog.
When they fed him a meatball they didn't realise it would be "friends for life".
Arther was hooked and wouldn't stop following them. After tagging along with the group for two days Arthur became their best friend.
When the time came to head back to Sweden, the group were unable to leave behind their most devoted cheerleader.
After a trip to the vet, Arthur finally found his new home in Sweden with one of the group members.
Arthur’s new owner, Lindnord, said the dog was looking for an adventure just like him.
“He was a street dog and I think to follow us on this adventure I think he was thing that ‘this is my chance, these guys have been kind to me and that means something, I’ll go with these guys.”
