India have belatedly named their Champions Trophy squad, which includes recovering offspinner Ravi Ashwin, almost two weeks after missing the initial deadline.
The possibility of an Indian withdrawal from the one-day tournament, held in England and Wales in June, had been raised after the Board of Control for Cricket in India were left unhappy with the financial agreement at a recent ICC board meeting in Dubai.
Such drastic action was ruled out at a special general meeting in Delhi on Sunday, leaving the selectors to proceed with the business of putting together a squad.
Eight of the 15-man squad which won the 2013 Champions Trophy have been retained.
There was a recall for fit-again seam bowler Mohammed Shami, who has not played an ODI since the World Cup semi-final in 2015, while opener Rohit Sharma and senior spinner Ashwin have also come through fitness concerns.
Ashwin has recovered sufficiently from a hernia - which ruled him out of the Indian Premier League - to take his place alongside classy left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja.
KL Rahul is the main casualty, having injured his shoulder in the recent series against Australia, while the exciting 19-year-old Rishabh Pant has to make do with a place among the stand-bys.
The Champions Trophy begins on June 1, with India playing its first game of the tournament against Pakistan on June 4.
India are in Group B for the competition where they'll face Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
