Assange questioning on sex charges delayed

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will wait another month before he answers questions by Swedish prosecutors over a sex allegation.

Questioning of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange over a sex allegation has been delayed by a month.

He was due to be asked questions inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London next week.

The questions will be submitted by Swedish prosecutors.

Ecuador's attorney general's office announced that the questioning has been postponed to mid-November to ensure that Assange's lawyer can attend.

The Australian has been living inside the embassy for over four years and has been granted political asylum by Ecuador.
