At least 47 people have been killed when two buses collided head-on in north-eastern Zimbabwe, the country's national broadcaster says.
The accident took place on Wednesday near the town of Rusape, according to the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation.
Among the dead were 45 adults and two children, police spokesperson Paul Nyathi was quoted as saying.
The buses were travelling between the capital, Harare, and the town of Mutare.
Like in many other African nations, traffic accidents are common in Zimbabwe due to poor road infrastructure and insufficient roadworthiness of vehicles.
