Former Sydney Kings big man Isaac Humphries has signed for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA.
The 20-year-old has picked up an undisclosed deal to join the Hawks' before their season opener next Thursday (AEST) against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
But the 213cm power forward/centre is more likely to take the court with Atlanta's G-League affiliate, the Erie Bay Hawks, due to the contract probably being non-guaranteed.
Humphries is coming off his debut NBL season, averaging 6.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and one block to notch rookie of the year honours.
He has worked out with the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings over the summer after a 12-game fling with Belgrade-based side FMP in Serbia's first-tier league earlier this year.

The Sydney product went undrafted in 2017 after two seasons at US college basketball heavyweights the University of Kentucky.
