Aung San Suu Kyi arrives in Australia

Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has touched down in Australia.

The Nobel Peace laureate is on a five-day visit to encourage support for further democratic reforms in her nation.

During her trip she'll visit Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra and will make a number of speeches, including one at the Sydney Opera House tonight.

She also meet NSW Governor Marie Bashir at Government House in Sydney this afternoon.
