As cricket's latest corruption scandal deepens, Fairfax newspapers say an Indian man, with links to illegal bookmakers, spoke to the Australian pair, who immediately reported him to authorities.

Fairfax also says the girlfriend of Pakistani bowler Mohammed Asif, who's accused of being part of a scam to fix parts of a recent Test against England, claims he told her the whole Pakistani team is involved from head to toe.
