Australian Harrison Endycott has carded a five under 66 in the third round of the Brazil Open on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica to be six shots off the lead.
The 22-year-old Sydneysider had six birdies and one bogey to be in a share of eighth at 13 under before Sunday's final round at Fazenda Boa Vista.
Brazilian Alexandre Rocha holds the 54-hole lead at 19 under, adding a Saturday 66 to rounds of 67 and 61.
His closest challenger is American Chase Hanna (65) at 17 under.
Michael Buttacavoli (64) and Ricardo Celia (68) are two shots further back while a trio of players are at 14 under.
Canadian Drew Nesbitt, who on Friday became the first golfer to shoot 59 in PGA Tour Latinoamerica history, struggled a day later with a two over 73 leaving him well off the pace.
Nesbitt, who opened with a 79 on Thursday, made four eagles in his historic second round which included a hole-in-one on the par-3 second hole.
"My goal obviously was just to make the cut," he said on Friday.
"Shooting 59 was absolutely incredible.
"This is a golfer's dream to shoot a sub-60 round and to do it on this tour especially was that much more special."
