Aussie golfers fight for LPGA Tour cards

Australian golfers Su Oh and Stacey Keating sit outside the top-20 cut-off at Florida qualifying to earn LPGA Tour exemption for next season.

Australian golfers Su Oh and Stacey Keating will need to shoot red-hot final rounds at the LPGA qualifying tournament in Florida to have any chance of winning full tour exemption for next season.

Needing to finish in the top 20 over five rounds in Daytona Beach to earn full LPGA Tour membership for 2016, Oh was on Saturday tied for 45th and Keating a shot behind tied for 49th.

Oh - a 19-year-old former world No.1 amateur - carded a fourth-round 73 to drop her to even-par for the tournament, with the top-20 cut-off currently at five-under overall.

Victorian Keating, 10 years Oh's senior, was one-over following a round of 71.

Another Australian, Rebecca Artis, was at four-over after a 70 but no chance of automatic qualification.

However, players finishing from 21st to 45th will get partial tour status with limited starts.

The two other Australians in the qualifying tournament, Emma de Groot and Breanna Elliott, missed the fourth-round cut.

China's Simin Feng shot a three-under 69 on Saturday on the Hills Course to take a five-stroke lead into the final round.

The 20-year-old Feng sits at 15-under overall.

Cydney Clanton and South Korea's Julie Yang were tied for second. Yang had a 71 on the Jones Course, and Clanton shot a 72 on the Hills Course.

Cheyenne Woods, Tiger Woods' niece, had a 73 on the Jones Course to drop from a tie for 16th into a tie for 24th at three-under.
