Aussie NFL kicker cut by Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns have cut their Adelaide-raised goal kicker Brad Craddock.

Australian kicker Brad Craddock has fallen victim to the cut-throat nature of the NFL.

Less than three weeks after the Cleveland Browns signed the Adelaide goal kicker, who was a star at the University of Maryland, the team announced on Wednesday they had waived him.

The Browns quickly picked up undrafted rookie kicker Jaden Oberkrom from the Jacksonville Jaguars to replace Craddock.
