Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea has picked up her first American Music Award.
She has taken out the gong for best rap/hip-hop album, telling the audience at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre it's the first award she has ever won.
The girl from Mullumbimby then took to the stage for a show stopping performance of her song Fancy, with dancers dressed as paparazzi gyrating around her holding cameras aloft.
The 24-year-old from Mullumbimby in northern NSW entered Sunday's (Monday AEDT) awards ceremony at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre with six nominations, more than any other artist, and performed Booty on stage, her raunchy new duet with Jennifer Lopez.

The music video for Booty lives up to its title, with Azalea and Lopez shaking their rear ends for the camera, but for their performance censors at the Disney-owned ABC will have their fingers on the three second delay button for the TV telecast.
Controversy is nothing new for Azalea, who along with topping charts in the US and around the world this year, has found herself in plenty of high-profile stoushes with rival rappers including Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
Sydney boys Five Seconds of Summer have also picked up a gong at the American Music Awards.
Accepting the fan-voted New Artist of the Year award, they gave a shout-out to their home town.
"This just shows a little band from Sydney can do great things," drummer Ashton Irwin told the audience in LA's Nokia Theatre.
The AMA nominees are chosen by key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, streaming and social activity.
The winners are voted by the fans via online and Twitter.
