A strong side from NSW including emerging shooter Kristina Brice will represent Australia in the inaugural multi-nation Super Club netball tournament in New Zealand.

The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) will be one of eight teams contesting the competition, which runs from August 2-7 in Nelson.

In their four-team pool, NSWIS have been drawn alongside the University of Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa's Gauteng Tigers and the Celtic Dragons from Wales.

The other pool brings together Fiji's Marama Vou and three teams from New Zealand.

Teams in the two pools will play eachother in a round-robin format before finals matches over the last two days.

Brice starred in the weeks leading up to the Super Netball grand final and emerged as one of the better young shooters in the country.

The NSWIS side also includes Toni Anderson and Taylah Davies, who were both part of the Giants' 2017 squad, but who haven't been retained for next year.

Also in the NSWIS squad are NSW Swifts stalwarts Maddy Proud, Maddy Turner and Sarah Klau.

Midcourter Proud was named the Swifts season MVP.

The NSWIS side will be coached by Briony Akle, with Giants coach Julie Fitzgerald and her Swifts counterpart Rob Wright accompanying the team as mentor coaches.

Wright and Fitzgerald helped Akle select the side which includes several talented youngsters.

"For some of these players it will be their debut into international competition." Akle said.

"It's a great opportunity for the athletes to learn about competition at this level, event travel, the playing style of the opposition and working alongside the likes of Rob and Julie."

NSWIS Super Club Team: Toni Anderson, Kristina Brice, Taylah Davies, Tayla Fraser, Angela Frketic, ,Sarah Klau, Georgia Marshall, Lauren Moore, Amy Parmenter, Maddy Proud, Maddy Turner.
