Aussie teen Jasika falls at Kooyong tennis

Australian teen Omar Jasika has been outclassed by British tennis world No.88 Kyle Edmund at the Kooyong Classic.

Promising Australian teen Omar Jasika was given a tennis lesson by Briton Kyle Edmund in their Kooyong Classic match.

Granted a wildcard to next week's Australian Open, the 18-year-old, playing his third match in as many days, ran out of steam as he fell to the world No.88 6-3 6-3 on Thursday.

In a rain-interrupted day, three matches were completed at the traditional Australian Open warm-up event.

Spaniard Nicolas Almagro posted his second win of the tournament with a 6-2 6-2 victory over South Korean youngster Hyeon Chung.

Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis bounced back from his opening round loss to post a hard-fought win over Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu 7-6 6-3.
