HOW AUSTRALIA FARED IN DAY-FIVE HEATS AT WORLD SWIMMING TITLES:

* Women's 100m freestyle:

Emma McKeon (53.47 seconds) - 7th fastest for semi-finals

Bronte Campbell (53.56) - 8th fastest for semis

* Men's 200m backstroke:

Josh Beaver (1:57.67 seconds) - 10th fastest qualifier for semi-finals

Mitch Larkin (1:58.00) - 13th fastest for semis

* Women's 4x200m freestyle:

Australia's Madi Wilson, Kotuku Ngawati, Shayna Jack, Leah Neale (7:54.74) - 4th fastest qualifier for final

* Women's 200m breaststroke:

Taylor McKeown (2:24.28) - 3rd fastest qualifier for semi-finals

* Men's 200m breaststroke:

Matthew Wilson (2:09.98) - 8th fastest qualifier for semi-finals
