Batsman Aaron Finch is "very confident" Australia can bounce back in Friday's second Twenty20 International against England at the MCG.
After a dismal Ashes series, Australia went down on the last ball of the opening T20 clash in Adelaide on Wednesday.
But Finch, who scored 15 not out on debut, says Cameron White's men are determined to play attacking cricket and shake the winning run of the world champions, which stands at a record streak of eight matches.

"To only lose off the last ball was a real positive I think and a lot can be taken out of that," Finch told reporters.
"I don't think we played all that well throughout the whole game. To come up that close is promising.
"We'll be very confident going into the game knowing that we've come close and we can win."
Finch is having a big week after being hired by Delhi Daredevils last weekend for $300,000 in the T20 Indian Premier League.
"It has been an exciting few days," he said.
"With 60,000 people there or however many who are going to turn up, it will be a fantastic experience on my home ground.
"There's meant to be a bit of rain but hopefully with the MCG being as good as it is, it dries pretty quick."
The match is due to start at 7.35pm despite predictions of more rain.
Cricket Australia officials are hoping for a crowd of 70,000.
