Aust cinematographer overlooked for Oscar

Australia's Greig Fraser received acclaim for his camera work shooting Indian and Tasmanian landscapes for Lion, but La La Land's lensman won the Oscar.

Lion's Australian cinematographer, Greig Fraser, has been bypassed for the Oscar.

The gold statuette went to the short-priced favourite in the category, La La Land's Linus Sandgren.
