Aust, Indonesia to sign trade deal on 14th

Australia and Indonesia are set to sign off on their landmark free trade agreement at the ASEAN summit in Singapore next week, it has been reported.

A free trade deal between Australia and Indonesia is set to be signed next week.

The two nations plan to sign the agreement on November 14 during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Singapore, Fairfax Media reports.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and President Joko Widodo will witness the signing of the deal by Trade Minister Simon Birmingham and his Indonesian counterpart Enggartiasto Lukita, it has been reported.

Mr Morrison signed a memorandum of understanding with Mr Widodo in August to commit both countries to signing a deal by Christmas.
