An elite Australian police task force hunting paedophiles across the globe has led Canadian police to an alleged child pornographer.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team announced this week Christopher Juneau of Eckville, Alberta, was charged with child pornography, possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and voyeurism.
ALERT's internet child exploitation unit received a tip from the Queensland Police Service's Task Force Argos 34-year-old Juneau was allegedly involved in trading child pornography images online.
Task Force Argos is a world leader in undercover operations identifying child exploiters online and saving young victims.
Juneau's January 10 arrest came after ICE received information from Task Force Argos and searched two homes in Alberta associated with him.

A number of computers and electronic devices were seized and submitted for forensic analysis, ALERT said.
Juneau was arrested a second time on January 18 by Sylvan Lake Royal Canadian Mounted Police after he allegedly breached his release conditions relating to internet access.
