Australia and New Zealand will compete in men's singles and men's fours finals at the Asia Pacific bowls championship in Christchurch.
Mike Kernaghann defeated Japan's Kenta Hasebe 21-13 in a semi-final on Thursday to set up a trans-Tasman showdown for gold on Saturday with Australian Aron Sherriff.
Sherriff reached the decider with a 21-19 win over Malaysia's Muhammad Hizlee Abdhul Rais.
The men's fours final on Sunday will also be a trans-Tasman affair.
The New Zealand quartet of Mike Nagy, Andrew Kelly, Shannon McIlroy and Paul Girdler claimed their berth by beating Malaysia 20-11, while Australia downed Hong Kong 16-10.
