Australia is chipping in $6 million to help developing countries increase trade in order to help lift people out of poverty, as part of a special program.
Trade Minister Andrew Robb is in Nairobi, Kenya for the World Trade Organisation's ministerial conference this week.
He said the program has already had success in the Asia Pacific region, having helped revitalise agriculture in Samoa, generate export growth in Cambodia and assist Vanuatu to become a WTO member.
