SYDNEY
The Darling Harbour Australia Day Spectacular will be a stunning multimedia symphony of light and music, culminating in a fireworks extravaganza over Cockle Bay on Saturday 26 January.
The best vantage points to view the fireworks are in Darling Harbour, outside the exclusion zones and out on the main channels near Goat Island.
On the waves of Sydney Harbour, renowned Indigenous artist Jessica Mauboy will perform for Australia Day crowds on and off the water.
The floating stage will anchor off Blues Point Reserve at 3.00pm for a performance for the public on the land.

The Australia Day Summer Playground in Hyde Park North, from 9am until 4pm, is the best place to soak up the family fun atmosphere as The new Wiggles perform a free show accompanied by the Dorothy the Dinosaur Show.
Sydney has celebrated Yabun since 2003. It means “song with a beat” in the language of the Eora, the original people of the Sydney region. The event is held in Victoria Park.
New South Wales celebrates the Saltwater Freshwater Festival at 10 rotating locations (Coffs Harbour, Taree, Karuah and others).

MELBOURNE
Events and activities will begin the week prior to Australia Day through to the traditional fireworks on the evening of 26 January.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy including the official flag raising ceremony and People's March, a luncheon, events in Kings Domain and Alexandra Gardens and activities at Docklands.
Melbourne holds the Share the Spirit festival in the Treasury Gardens (since 2002), and another Survival Day celebration in Borthwick Park, Belgrave.

BRISBANE
The Australia Day Festival will bring the Parklands to life with colour, sound and movement as some of Queensland's most talented performers and community groups entertain audiences throughout the day. Be there to enjoy live music, a vibrant stage program and creative, hands-on activities with an Australian theme.
Don't miss the traditional Flag Raising Ceremony on the Cultural Forecourt where the Australian Defence Force will raise the Australian, Queensland, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags. The ceremony commences at 11.15 am and includes a spectacular 21-gun military salute and F/A-18F Super Hornet flypast.
Make sure you head to the Piazza at 12.15 pm after the Flag Raising Ceremony to take part in the Celebration of Faiths and acknowledge and reflect on our diverse culture.
Visit the Cultural Forecourt at 2.30 pm for Triple M Grill Team's Wife Carrying Championships. The winners will head to Finland and represent Australia in the World Championships.
The celebrations will continue into the evening with a live performance by chart toppers and critically acclaimed group, Evermore. The live music won't stop there, with Rockhampton's favourite sons Busby Marou and local indie group, Art of Sleeping, set to rock out in the Piazza.

ADELAIDE
Australia Day in the City is SA's major Australia Day celebration in the heart of Adelaide.
Join more than 30000 people celebrating with our Parade / Concert & Fireworks.
The event kicks off with the country's largest Australia Day Parade - more than 3500 people walked through the streets of Adelaide in 2012 and we expect a similar number again.
The Parade participants a huge number of cultural and community groups. plus floats, roving performers, 100 vintage vehicles, 30 horses, 15 marching bands, a giant echidna and a fly-past by an F-18 Hornet.
After making its way through city streets, the procession will converge on Elder Park at 7pm for the twilight Australia Day Concert featuring Wes Carr and the Potbellez.
Adelaide organises Survival at the National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, Tandanya, in Rymill Park (Mullawirraburka).

Watch with pride as Australia's Federation Guard raise the Australian National Flag at 9am.
The 2013 Australia Celebrates Live concert is a free event held on Friday 25 January on the lawns of Parliament House.
This year's concert will be hosted by James Mathison of Australian Idol fame and Kate Ritchie, a familiar face on Australian TV due to her roles in Home and Away and Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. The lineup features some of Australia's finest music talent including Jimmy Barnes, Guy Sebastian, The Presets and Timomatic.
There is sure to be something for everyone, so make sure you get down to Parliament House early to secure your spot on the grass.
