STATE OF PLAY: India 3-151 and 250 versus Australia 235 at stumps on day three at Adelaide Oval. The tourists lead by 166 runs

MAN OF THE DAY: Cheteshwar Pujara. India's first-drop follows his superb first-innings 123 with another crucial knock to be unbeaten on 40. Pujara successfully reviewed when given out lbw to Nathan Lyon on 17 and then batted until stumps to hold the key to the outcome of the Test

KEY MOMENT: With four overs remaining before stumps, Australian offspinner Lyon dismisses Virat Kohli for 34. The Indian skipper was caught at bat-pad, ending a 71-run partnership with Pujara and reviving Australia's hopes. It's the sixth time Lyon has dismissed Kohli in Tests - the most of any bowler.

STAT OF THE DAY: 213. The average fourth-innings score in Adelaide Tests. The highest successful fourth-innings run chase in Adelaide is Australia's 6-315 against England in 1902
