AUSTRALIA VERSUS INDIA TEST TRIVIA:

* India have never won a series in Australia in 11 attempts

* The Indians have not won a first Test of a series in Australia, losing nine with two draws

* Since 2004, Australia have lost just once in Adelaide (to England in 2010)

* Australia have lost 17 of 76 Adelaide Tests, with 40 wins and 19 draws

* India's only Adelaide Test win was in 2003. They've lost seven and drawn three in Adelaide

* Australian spinner Nathan Lyon has taken 37 wickets at 26.13 from seven Adelaide Tests and never been wicketless in an innings

* Lyon has dismissed India's Cheteshwar Pujara more times (seven) than any other Test batsman. He's taken Virat Kohli's wicket five times in 13 Tests but, twice, his scalp came after the Indian captain had scored a century

* Kohli averages 98.5 in Adelaide Tests with three tons from four innings

* Kohli is eight runs shy of becoming India's highest Test run-scorer in Adelaide, behind only Rahul Dravid who made 401 runs in eight Adelaide innings.
