Australian-led innovation delegation "rude": Palestinian minister

Rude, blunt, explosive and misinformed. That's how the Palestinian Education Minister, Dr Sabri Saidam has characterised an Australian-led delegation which met him in his office in Ramallah on Sunday.

The Australian-British delegation included the Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Christopher Pyne, former speaker Bronwyn Bishop, Labor MP Tim Watts and Human Rights Commissioner Tim Wilson.

Doctor Saidam says he thought the delegates wanted to speak about innovation and education but says the questions quickly turned to political matters.
