A Las Vegas man who fired a .44 calibre "Dirty Harry" Magnum gun at Australia's Thunder from Down Under stripper troupe after they confronted him about stealing their g-strings and costumes has been sentenced to up to 25 years' jail.

Joey Kadmiri, 26, admitted he was high on methamphetamines when he went to the Excalibur Casino on the Vegas strip on March 18, 2004.

Kadmiri snuck into the strippers' dressing room and stole g-strings and costumes, including a Sydney Fire Department T-shirt the men used in their popular show at the casino.

A struggle broke out when troupe members Aidan Te Puke and Ryan Paki found Kadmiri on a patio near the backstage area.

The show continued on stage while other members rushed backstage to the patio to help pin down Kadmiri until security came.
