An Australian man working with an oil and gas drilling company in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights has been killed in a workplace accident.
The man died on Sunday morning during work on an oil well test site, The Jerusalem Post reported on its website.
It quoted an Afek Oil and Gas spokesperson saying the man was injured while disassembling equipment for well tests and later died of his injuries.
He was employed by a company called Viking, which was contracted by Afek to conduct oil well tests.
