Australians evacuating from Juba

An Australian-South Sudanese man in Juba says the Australian government is not doing enough to help its citizens stranded in the country.

Daniel John Barak is from Brisbane and had travelled to Juba to visit family over the festive period.

Mr Barak says the United States has begun evacuating its citizens from the capital via US Airforce planes.

But Mr Barak says the Australian government has not offered similar assistance.

He spoke with Santilla Chingaipe.
