Eight Australians have been affected by the Barcelona terror attack, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says.

AUSTRALIANS IN THE BARCELONA TERROR ATTACK:

* Seven-year-old Julian Cadman from Sydney is missing after getting separated from his mum Jom Cadman during the attack.

* Sydney woman Jom Cadman is in hospital in a serious but stable condition. Her husband Andrew is flying to Barcelona to be by her side and help find their son, Julian.

* Young Sydney bank worker Suria Intan is in a serious but stable condition at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Ms Intan works for the Commonwealth Bank and is heavily involved in the Hillsong Church.

* Two Victorian men - who were hit by the vehicle - released from hospital after receiving treatment.
