Australian DJ and music producer Harley Streten, best known as Flume, has won a Grammy Award.

Streten missed out on the Best Dance recording category earlier in Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles, but bounced back with a win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skin.

A stunned Streten said the win was "insane", but added on stage he was proud to be representing Australian music at America's top music awards ceremony.
