A 14-month-old boy has died after being run over by a truck at a home in Queensland's central west.

The child was on the driveway of a home at Longreach when he was crushed by a truck that was entering the property, police say.

Earlier on Sunday, a five-year-old boy also died after being hit by a truck north of Brisbane.

The boy had been on a bike ride with his family when he was hit while crossing an intersection at Kallangur. He died at the scene.
