Baghdad bombings kill 13, wound 22

Multiple bombings in Baghdad have killed at least 13 people and wounded 22, officials say.

Monday's bombing struck a busy commercial street in the Habibiya section of Baghdad's Sadr City, killing at least nine people and wounding 22.

Earlier in northwestern Baghdad, police say a bomb detonated near an intelligence branch of the Interior Ministry, killing four people, including two children.

Hospital officials corroborated the casualty figures.

While no one has claimed responsibility for this attack, the Islamic State militant group has claimed a number of recent bombings.
