A day after snaring Rio Olympics nomination, Ryan Bailie has won two Australian triathlon awards.
Bailie won the athlete's athlete prize - voted by his peers - and was also named best male at Triathlon Australia's annual awards on Sunday.
On Saturday, he finished fourth at the world series race on the Gold Coast to earn automatic nomination for the Rio Games.
Bailie won the two awards for finishing sixth in last year's international rankings, as well as competing at the Commonwealth Games.
Liz Blatchford's third place last October at the Hawaiian Ironman world championships earned her honours in the female athlete category.
Paralympian John McLean, a Hawaiian Ironman finisher and English Channel swimmer, was inducted into Triathlon Australia's hall of fame.
McLean was left a paraplegic after he was hit by a truck in 1988 while training on his bike.
But two years ago, he had regained enough use of his legs to finish the Nepean Triathlon without a wheelchair.
