Bangladesh beat Windies to seal ODI series

Tourists Bangladesh have beaten the West Indies by 18 runs to secure a 2-1 one-day international series win.

Tamim Iqbal's century has helped Bangladesh to an 18-run victory over the West Indies in the deciding one-day international which secured a 2-1 series win.

Tamim, who hit an unbeaten 130 in the opening ODI clash, was again the talisman for the tourists as the opener racked up 103 in Bangladesh's total of 6-30.

Mushfiqur Rahim (12) fell short of the 20 runs he needed to surpass Alec Stewart as the sixth-highest scorer as an international wicketkeeper in all formats

Mahmudullah made an unbeaten 67.

Ashley Nurse (2-53) was the pick of the West Indies bowlers.

In reply, the hosts were never up to speed despite Chris Gayle's 73 from 66 balls.

Shai Hope tried to keep them on track with 64 while Rovman Powell finished unbeaten on 74 but it was not enough to prevent defeat in the three-match series.
