Bangladesh call up Hossain for ODI series

Bangladesh have named their 14-man squad for the first two one-day internationals against England.

Bangladesh have named pace bowler Al-Amin Hossain in their 14-man squad for the first two one-day cricket internationals against England.

Al-Amin did not figure in recent one-dayers against Afghanistan but is in consideration for the games in Dhaka on Friday and Sunday.

Taijul Islam has been left out of the Bangladesh squad after taking only one wicket in his 20 overs against Afghanistan.

Fellow left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain is named in the squad.

Mashrafe Mortaza captains the side in the games, which are followed by a third ODI on October 12, then two Tests later in the month.
