Banksy, who has kept his identity a secret whilst maintaining a reputation for his challenging, often politicised artwork, painted the mural on a building in Dover, the ferry port that connects England with France on the eve of the French election.

The work was confirmed as his in a post on his official Instagram account last night.
The artist's 2015 work of Steve Jobs received international recognition in 2015 after it was created at the Jungle migrant camp in Calais, France. The apple founder's biological father was a Syrian immigrant to the United States.
