Bayley pleads guilty to Meagher murder

Adrian Ernest Bayley has pleaded guilty to raping and murdering Melbourne woman Jill Meagher.

Bayley appeared before the Melbourne Supreme Court this afternoon and pleaded guilty to one count of rape and one count of murder.

He's now been remanded in custody and will reappear in court on June 11 for a plea hearing.
