Beating Cowboys a big ask: Bellamy

Melbourne have kept the opposition scoreless in their past two NRL games but coach Craig Bellamy says they'll need to lift against North Queensland.

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy says reigning premiers North Queensland represent the biggest test the Storm have faced this NRL season.

The Storm are up against the table-topping Cowboys in game one of Saturday's double header in Brisbane.

Melbourne and North Queensland both sit in the top four, with seven wins from nine rounds.

"They're playing as well as they were last year when they won the competition, so it's a really big ask," Bellamy said.

Meanwhile, Bellamy is upbeat the club made it through the rep weekend without any fresh injury concerns.
