Beds to open at SA Repat hospital

The South Australian government will open 20 beds at Adelaide's Repatriation Hospital by the end of the year.

Twenty beds will open at Adelaide's Repatriation Hospital by the end of the year as part of the state government's promise to return the facility to service.

Premier Steven Marshall says the beds will be available for long-stay patients who are currently waiting up to six months for out-of-hospital support.

"This is another step in the state government's delivery of its commitment to establish a world-class health and wellbeing precinct that caters for the growing health needs of South Australians," Mr Marshall said.
