Left-arm quicks Jason Behrendorff and Joel Paris will make their return to competitive cricket in Western Australia's one-day domestic cup campaign.

Behrendorff has been sidelined for eight months after his second straight season was prematurely ended by a stress fracture in his lower back, which was discovered in January.

Meanwhile Paris, who made his ODI debut for Australia last summer, has not played since last summer after he was ruled out of the IPL with a shin injury.

Their returns come at a key time for Australian cricket, with an injury crisis gripping a number of the country's best fast bowlers.

Both will be welcome additions to the Justin Langer-coached Warriors, who are already without Nathan Coulter-Nile with a back injury and Mitchell Marsh through Australian ODI duties in South Africa.

"It's great to see Jason back in the squad after a long time out," Langer said.

"He's a consummate professional with his rehab and has been diligent throughout so we're confident he can return to his best."

Current and former Australian representatives Shaun Marsh and Ashton Agar have also been named, but are unlikely to be available for the opening clash against South Australia on October 2 at the WACA as they battle to return from finger and shoulder injuries respectively.

Australian Test batsman Adam Voges will lead the side, while David Moody and Hilton Cartwright have been added from last year's Cricket Australia XI.

WA's 14-man squad: Adam Voges (capt), Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Jason Behrendorff, Hilton Cartwright, Michael Klinger, Shaun Marsh, David Moody, Joel Paris, Nathan Rimmington, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Jonathan Wells, Sam Whiteman.
