Disgraced blogger Belle Gibson has one more chance to file a defence against Federal Court action by Victoria's consumer watchdog.

Ms Gibson and her lawyers failed to appear at a case management hearing at the Federal Court in Melbourne on Friday.

It is the second time she and her liquidators have failed to show.

Barrister Catherine Button, for Consumer Affairs Victoria, said liquidators had told the court they would not appear, but Ms Gibson had given no such notice.

Ms Gibson is accused of falsely claiming she healed herself from terminal cancer naturally while promoting her Whole Pantry app and book.

Justice Debra Mortimer gave Ms Gibson one more chance to file a defence on the case - by 4pm on July 10.

"These are serious allegations and I want to make sure Ms Gibson knows the consequences of not contributing in this case," Justice Mortimer told the court.

She also refused a suggestion by Ms Button that Ms Gibson's address be suppressed in affidavits that will be made available to the media.
