England coach Wayne Bennett has added former Huddersfield Giants mentor Paul Anderson to his backroom team ahead of the upcoming Four Nations rugby league tournament.
Anderson has been appointed as an assistant coach to Bennett alongside Denis Betts and Paul Wellens.
Anderson led the Giants for four years between 2012 and 2016 leading his team to League Leaders' Shield success in his first full season in charge and the play-offs in 2014 and 2015.
A former player with Leeds, Bradford Bulls and St Helens, he has lifted the Super League trophy three times, won the Challenge Cup in 2006, won two World Club Challenges.
"The biggest factor in taking this job was the opportunity to work alongside Wayne, Denis and Paul," Anderson said.
