Bid for more Indigenous involvement in Commission

Members of the Stolen Generations are being encouraged to tell their stories to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

The Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service says Indigenous people who have been abused can reach out for help and get legal support.

Legal service case manager Alister McKeich says Indigenous organisations initially missed out on securing government funding to help the victims.

But he says that's now changed.
