Queensland's opposition police spokesman Jarrod Bleijie has been accused of telling "porky pies" after making unsubstantiated claims about the Labor Party.
Mr Bleijie claimed state government MPs, led by Jim Pearce, had threatened to resign if Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk acted against unions implicated in criminal activity at the trade unions royal commission.
But Mr Pearce has categorically rejected those assertions, saying they're just untrue.
"He just tells porky pies that guy," he told AAP.
"I don't know where he got it from."
Mr Bleijie was unable to divulge any source for his claims when pressed by journalists, only mentioning it was "common knowledge" within the Labor party.
Health Minister Cameron Dick said the opposition police spokesman's claim was pure "mischief making".
"The LNP says many things that aren't true. That's been my regrettable history of experience with the LNP," he said.
"They're happy to mischief make and say things, that in my experience, have proved not to be true."
Mr Dick said he wasn't interested in the LNP's running commentary, but what was going on in the inquiry.
The Labor party's ties with the CFMEU have been questioned all week, following evidence of serious impropriety and corruption involving the union at the royal commission.
