The 11-minute documentary was created so the hip-hop trio could give their fans a first-hand view of the war in Afghanistan.
Bliss N Eso were invited to Afghanistan by Forces Entertainment. The secret mission was originally planned for 2012 but cancelled at the last minute.
The opportunity presented itself again in 2013 when Bliss N Eso manager Adam Jankie met with Lieutenant Colonel Ian Robinson of Forces Entertainment. It turned out to be the final entertainment mission into Afghanistan before the withdrawal of Australian troops.
"We don't support war or conflict, what we do support are our fellow human beings," says Bliss N Eso's Jonathan Notley.
"These guys and girls who are stationed all around the world are our fans and due to the nature of their work they don't get to see our shows back home. To be able to play to them in a location like Afghanistan was a fulfilling and eye-opening experience, and likely something we will never be able to do again."
