Blues to test Kreuzer as AFL return looms

Star Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer will move a step closer to his AFL return from knee surgery this weekend.

Star Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer will take an important step towards his AFL comeback this Saturday afternoon.

Kreuzer will play in a VFL internal hitout at Ikon Park as the Blues play Sydney at Marvel Stadium.

He has not played at all this year after knee surgery in January.
