Body found in water near Geelong pier

Emergency services were called to Eastern Beach in Geelong on Monday to retrieve a body found in the water.

The body of a man has been found in the water near a Geelong pier in Victoria.

Victoria Police say the body was seen by passers-by off Cunningham Pier at Eastern Beach after 9am on Monday and was subsequently retrieved by search and rescue squad members.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
