A body has been found on the isolated property in NSW's central west, where police arrested fugitives Gino and Mark Stocco.

Following the arrests of the Stocco pair when heavily armed officers stormed the farm on Tonniges Road, Elong Elong at midday on Wednesday, a man's body was located, police said.

While he has not yet been formally identified, it is believed to be that of a 68-year-old man who has been missing since October 8.

The cause of his death is not yet known.

A crime scene has been established at the 385-hectare property, called Pinevale, near the town of Dunedoo, and will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
