A tweet three hours before his first press conference as a Sydney Kings player was a sure sign Andrew Bogut will be anything but dull when he makes his NBL debut later this year.
Promising a prize for "the most unique and thought out question" thrown at him by journalists, the master of social media niggle put the heat back on the press pack that was due to assemble.
The now former NBA star has always been critical of an Australian sporting landscape that he says discourages athletes from being open and honest.
Bogut's Twitter bio simply reads "Be you" and he is never shy of expressing his views to his 373,000 followers.
It is a refreshing approach that sometimes backfires, his feud with Australian Opals colleague Liz Cambage a case in point.

"All the media out there know I'm pretty honest and straightforward, for good and for bad," he said.
"That never really got to me (media scrutiny as an NBA player); it is what it is and it's a great platform to get a message out and be yourself.
"Obviously some guys can't, with sponsors and a culture here with football especially that clubs don't like you straying too far from the line."
Bogut was refreshingly insightful during Tuesday's media commitments, with NBL officials and his coach Andrew Gaze happy to take the good with the bad as the league and Kings eye record crowds this year.
"He's engaged with the Australian public, does an unbelievable job on social media, is a very articulate and intelligent man and hopefully that equates to some wins for the Sydney Kings," Gaze said.
