Andrew Bogut has received his NBA championship ring at a raucous pre-game ceremony with his Golden State Warriors teammates.

Bogut, the 30-year-old, 213cm tall centre from Melbourne, put two thumbs up after his name was called to walk to centre court of the sold-out Warriors' Oracle Arena on Tuesday to collect his ring.

The Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers last season for the title and on Tuesday received their rings before playing the opening game of the new season against the New Orleans Pelicans.
