A Sunshine Coast train station at the centre of a bomb threat has been declared safe.
Police and rail staff searched the area surrounding Nambour station on Monday morning but found nothing suspicious.
"The incident has now been resolved," police said in a statement.
They advised the area was safe just after 11am (AEST) - about two-and-a-half hours after a member of the public advised them of a bomb threat.
The call prompted police to declare an emergent situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act and warn people to avoid the area as a precaution.

The threat disrupted rail services in both directions.
